Anna Paquin is a Canadian as well as a New Zealand actress. She was born in Winnipeg and born in Wellington Paquin was able to make her acting debut portraying Flora McGrath in the romantic drama film The Piano for which she was awarded an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress aged 11 years old, which makes her the second youngest winner to win an award within Oscar history. She played teenagers as part of Hurlyburly (1998), She's All That (2000), A Walk on the Moon (2000) as well as the Polexia Aphrodisa character in Almost Famous (2000).
