Anna Silk was born at St. Thomas University in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. Anna Silk is the daughter of Peter Silk - an academic and Ilkay Silk, a gifted actress who is also a director, writer and producer. Her father hails from Britain and her mother is an "Turkish English-Cypriot expat." Anna's early memories of attending rehearsals for play and observing her mother at working.
