Jacques Bermon Webster II (born April 30 1991), better known by his stage name Travis Scott (formerly stylized as Travi$ Scott) is a popular American musician, rapper and songwriter. He is also a record producer. The stage name is the name of his favorite uncle who has the first name and the first name (of Kid Cudi), of his idol, Travis Scott. Scott signed his first major-label agreement with Epic Records in 2012, along with a publishing contract with Kanye West's GOOD Music. He signed a joint record deal with Epic Records and T.I. He's signed to Epic and T.I.'s Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's first album, Owl Pharaoh was self-released on his own in 2013. The mixtape was then followed by Days Before Rodeo in 2014. His debut studio album, Rodeo (2015), was led by the hit track "Antidote". The album that followed, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) became his first Billboard 200 number one album. Scott dropped Birds in the Trap Sing McCKnight (2016) alongside Quavo under the name of Huncho Jack. In the year 2018, Astroworld was released to high praise from critics. It was the first album to feature his Billboard Hot 100 top 100 single, "Sicko Mode" feat. Drake. Scott's album JackBoys was released late in 2019 by Cactus Jack Records. It was a top 10 hit on the Billboard 200. Scott's track "Franchise" which featured Young Thug, M.I.A. and other artists, was released. in 2020, Scott became the first artist on the Hot 100 to have three songs reach the top spot within a mere year.
